Loners

Three loners from Austria and Croatia, who in their artistic consequence always went their own way far removed from all Modernisms, are presented by the Culture Center Infeld in Dobrinj, Island of Krk.

Karl Korab, Zeljko Lapuh and Hans Staudacher are artists clamoring for spectacular success. Their work reflects life in a thoughtful and consistent manner, thus providing a distinctive contribution to the world of contemporary art.
As different as their artistic individuality may be, they also have something in common: They are loners - solitary individuals who are among those artistic missionaries who have found a rarely achieved level of internalization in their seclusion. In their artistic development, they managed to create an individual world of images, a picture cosmos identifiable immediately with the person. 
All exhibited works by the Austrian artists Karl Korab and Hans Staudacher come from the copious Infeld collection. The works of Zeljko Lapuh are on loan from the artist.
